Can my student bring a cell phone to school?

Posted by:

Yes, students may possess cell phones on school district property and at school sponsored activities. However, they may NOT turn on or use their cell phones on school grounds until the end of the official instructional day. It is students' responsibility to ensure that their cell phones are turned off and out of sight during the instructional day. Any student who violates the above rules is subject to disciplinary action according to the student code of conduct. The school is NOT responsible for items stolen or damaged on campus. The owner assumes all risks for cell phones and personal property brought to school.
