Bridge to the Ridge coming in April

Gila Ridge High School will hold their annual “Bridge to the Ridge” – an incoming ninth grade pep assembly – on Monday, Apr. 15, 2019 at 5 p.m. This event is intended to welcome new parents and students to GRHS and show families a little more of what the GRHS community has to offer.

“Transitioning to ninth grade is exciting, but it can also be a scary time for students,” Gila Ridge Assistant Principal Steve Anderson said. “We hope that this first glimpse into high school life will provide them with the information and encouragement they need to be a successful member of Gila Ridge High School.”

Bridge to the Ridge will take place in Hawk Gym. Parents and students will be introduced to key staff members, and treated to performances by dance, choir, and cheer. Following the assembly, students and their parents will learn information about curriculum, academics/credits, attendance, and dress code in high school. Students will also be able to visit displays, take a tour of the campus and sign up for academic areas, clubs and athletic teams that they may be interested in joining.
