Gila Ridge dance invitational to include programs from across Yuma County

The Gila Ridge High School dance program will host their annual Dance Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gila Ridge Performing Arts Center.

Those performing this year include Gila Ridge Hawks Performing Dancers, Kofa Royal Dancers, Yuma High Cell block Dancers, Cibola Performing Dancers, Dancer's Workshop/JAMS, Dancemakers, Dawn's Dance Studio/JOY, Arizona Western College Dance team, and Arizona Classical Ballet Company.

The cost of the show is $5 at the door. Monica Ramirez will serve as this year’s guest teacher. A graduate from Kofa High School and a member of the Kofa Royal Dancers, Ramirez will take a break from her dance career in Los Angeles to share with the area dance students about her life as a professional dancer.

“Come out and enjoy an evening filled with all styles of dance,” said Gila Ridge dance teacher Tami White.
