YUHSD Transition Fair coming May 3

Yuma Union High School District will host its annual Transition Fair on Tuesday, May 3 from 12:30-2:45 p.m. in the Kofa High School library.

All families of students with disabilities are invited to the event and will have the opportunity to talk to different programs and explore options for life after high school.

“Attendance at the transition fair will help families plan for their child’s future,” YUHSD Transition Specialist Sarah Figueroa said. “There is no age limit for students who have families that would like to attend, including families of students in elementary, middle, or high school.”

Participating agencies include: Family Partners, Saguaro, MIKID, Elite Community Services, DDD, Vocational Rehab, ACHIEVE, Raising Special Kids, Arizona@Work, S.M.I.L.E, Goodwill Career Center, AWC, STEDY, and many more.
