YUHSD schools host drive-thru registration for incoming freshmen

Drive-thru registration SLHS Several Yuma Union High School District schools are hosting drive-thru registration events for incoming freshmen during the month of February.

San Luis High School kicked off the push to get students registered for the 2021-22 school year on Monday night from 5-7 p.m. and will continue with students whose last names begin with M-Z from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 and all names on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 5-7 p.m.

“Families come in, they turn in documents they need to register for next year,” SLHS Co-Principal Rob Jankowski said.

Those attending are expected to bring a parent/guardian ID, the student’s birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of Arizona residency.

Families with questions should contact their respective school directly. They may also visit YumaUnion.org and navigate to the online registration page for incoming ninth graders.
