YUHSD will begin hybrid learning on Sept 14

The Yuma Union High School District Governing Board voted on Thursday night in support of Superintendent Gina Thompson’s recommendation to begin the in-person, hybrid learning model. The first day of hybrid learning will be Monday, Sept. 14, 2020. A sample of the hybrid schedule is available here

Families may choose for their student to remain in distance learning through Canvas or attend the 2-day per week hybrid option. If families choose to remain in distance learning for the 2020-2021 school year, they may consider enrolling with Yuma Online Distance Academy (YODA).

All students who wish to take part in on-campus learning MUST have a signed COVID-19 waiver on file at the campus they attend. For your convenience, the waiver is available through your ParentVUE account. It is also attached to this message and can be accessed at or your campus website.

If you have questions, please contact your school office.
