NAU and Yuma County Schools are making degrees more affordable for educators in Yuma County

Northern Arizona University and Yuma County Schools, including Yuma Union High School District, are pleased to announce their partnership to offer teachers and staff of Yuma County Schools the opportunity to earn NAU graduate degrees at a 10 percent tuition savings. 

Yuma County Schools Superintendent, Tom Tyree stated, “Our office is pleased to partner with NAU in Yuma to offer our educators this outstanding opportunity. This is another way to show our teachers that Yuma County values them as professionals!”
 
Through this partnership, Yuma County School employees are eligible to pursue graduate degrees at NAU at a lower cost. The university offers graduate programs in Yuma and online so employees can continue working while earning their degrees.
 
Dr. Michael J. Sabath, Associate Vice President and Campus Executive Officer for NAU Yuma said, “The NAU tuition savings on graduate degrees will help many Yuma educators to pursue the credentials they need to advance their careers.”
