Deadline to register for YUHSD Extended Learning Summer Program is May 23

The registration deadline for Yuma Union High School District’s Extended Learning Summer Program is fast approaching.

Students interested in registering must do so by visiting their campus counseling office by Thursday, May 23, 2019. Classes will take place June 4-21, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday on all six YUHSD campuses.

“The Extended Learning Summer Program offers students an opportunity to retrieve credits lost through absenteeism or failure, and, perhaps most importantly, to increase skills to improve their potential for success during the regular school year,” YUHSD Associate Superintendent Lisa Anderson said.

Tuition for the summer program is $10 and must be paid at the campus bookstore. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students at no cost.
