Early registration for 8th graders underway

Parents of eighth-grade students who will be attending Cibola High School next year have the opportunity to complete part of their registration requirements for the fall semester during early registration in the Cibola library this week.

Registration procedures include completion of the Yuma Union High School District registration paperwork, evaluation of immunization records, submitting of birth certificates, and submission of proof of residence.  Representatives from the Counseling Department, Special Services, Modern Language Department, Nurse’s Office, AVID, and the Academics office will be on hand to help guide parents and students of the Class of 2023 through the registration process.

To help make the process run smoothly, Cibola staff is asking that students from its partner schools with a last name beginning with the letters A-L to register on Tuesday, Mar. 19 from 4-6 p.m.  Students with a last name beginning with the letters M-Z will have the opportunity to register on Wednesday, Mar. 20 from 4-6 p.m.

On Thursday, Mar. 21 students unable to attend the previous days are able to register from 4-6 p.m. Parents unable to attend during those above hours are encouraged to register their child during the school day beginning on Friday, Mar. 22 during regular business hours of 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Parents and guardians are asked to bring their child’s completed YUHSD registration paperwork, immunization records, copy of birth certificate, and proof of residence to help ensure a smooth registration process.

Need express lane service?  Bring all paperwork filled out, signed, and make your own copies for the school to keep of shot records, birth certificate, and proof of residency paperwork.
