Cibola drama presents “Seussical the Musical”

Seussical posterThe Cibola High School Drama Production and Performance class will put on their fall show titled “Seussical the Musical” on Oct. 28-29, 2022 in the Cibola High School Auditorium. Showtime is 7 p.m. for both nights. 

“This is a musical that will be fun for the entire family,” CHS Drama Director Michael Massone said. “Especially, if you grew up with Dr.Seuss and all of his beloved characters.”

Seussical is a musical that brings together some of Dr. Seuss' most iconic books like “Cat in the Hat” and “Oh, the Places You'll Go!” In this upbeat musical the audience will follow Horton the Elephant (played by Roman Vega) in the telling of “Horton Hears a Who” and “Horton Hatches the Egg,” with some other seuss characters and stories sprinkled throughout all being guided through song and dance by Cat in the Hat (played by Taylor Nelson).

“Seussical the Musical” is one of two mainstage shows the Cibola drama department will put on this school year. The next mainstage show will take place in the spring semester.
