YUHSD Student Services to host transition fairs at each campus

Yuma Union High School District's Student Services Department will host transition fairs for families with children with special needs. Events will take place on YUHSD campuses throughout the month of October. 

During a transition fair, families and students have the opportunity to talk to different programs and explore options for their life after high school.

Below are the dates and times for each school:

Wednesday, Oct. 5
Cibola High School, 8-10 a.m.
Kofa High School, 5-7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 12
Yuma High School, 8-10 a.m.
Gila Ridge High School, 5-7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 19
San Luis High School, 8-10 a.m.

Families may attend any of the sessions at any campus.

Participating agencies include: Family Partners, Saguaro, MIKID, Elite Community Services, DDD, Vocational Rehab, ACHIEVE, Raising Special Kids, AZ@Work, S.M.I.L.E, AWC, STEDY, Workability, Easterseals, ECHS, RISE, Special Olympics, and many more!

Many of these agencies will offer core support for students with disabilities and their families during and after high school.
