YUHSD Summer Learning program to begin June 7
Yuma Union High School District will offer a robust, in-person Summer Learning program at all six of its campuses June 7-24, 2022.
Classes will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and allow students an opportunity to retrieve learning, earn credits lost, and earn initial credit for enrichment. More than 30 classes will be offered during the 17-day program.
To register, students should talk to their school counselor before May 23.
“Each summer we have made strides to improve both the opportunities available for students to recover credits and earn initial credit through enrichment,” YUHSD Associate Superintendent Lisa Anderson said. “This summer we are especially proud of the offerings for our students.”
Breakfast and lunch will be available to students at no cost, while transportation will be provided to and from school.
