Yuma High School Cellblock Dancers present 'Dancers Choice'

The Yuma High School Cellblock Dancers will be putting Dancers in rehearsals. on their spring dance show “Dancers Choice” on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in Snider Auditorium. Admission is $7 at the door.

“Dancers Choice” is a dance recital where the dancers were able to pick their own music to dance to. The show will feature dancers from all different levels of dance, solo performances, and group performances.

“I'm so excited to be able to perform on this stage my last year of high school and to be able to say my farewell to high school through dance,” YHS senior Sarai Arellano said.

“Dancers Choice” will also feature kids from the community ages five and up that participated in their “Dance Buddies” event where the YHS dancers taught them a dance to perform at the showcase with them.

The Yuma High dance program typically has one show each semester.
