Yuma High Auto club hosts holiday car show
Yuma High School’s Auto club will be hosting their 2nd annual holiday car show on Dec. 15, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. in the Yuma High School front parking lot.
Students of the YHS Auto club organized and planned the event as well as worked with groups inside and outside campus. Entry to the car show is free for both participants and spectators.
The car show is an opportunity for the club to connect with the community,” said YHS Auto teacher John Baldwin. “Some of the students will be showing their own cars that they worked on in the shop; however, the event is also open to anyone in the community, so it won't be limited to just student's cars. Our goal is to promote our club so that club members are recognized throughout the community, especially when they apply for a job.”
Other YHS clubs will be at the event selling various items such as food, refreshments, clothing, etc. to fundraise for their clubs.
Taco Monster will be hosting a YHS Auto takeover from 6-10 p.m. Anyone that brings a flyer or mentions YHS Auto will receive a 10% discount and a portion of the total sales will go to the auto club. Taco Monster is located at 2198 S 4th Ave, Yuma, AZ.
