Vista High School is seeking input on a bell schedule change for next year.

This year we have had FLEX days where students choose what class to attend for the final period of the day.

Students have used the FLEX period to get extra time or support in a class of their choice. It has helped students master concepts and pass classes.

We would like your input on having a FLEX day every Wednesday next year. The start of the school day and the end of the school day will not change. Most days would be the same as this year. On Wednesdays classes would be shorter and there would be two FLEX periods to finish the day. Click here to view the schedule.

We think this schedule has the following benefits:

• Give students more choice in their schedule
• Recognize that students may want or need more learning time for some classes than others
• Provide every student the opportunity to earn credits faster by giving all students an opportunity to have Edgenuity courses

Aporte del calendario de Horario de Campana para Vista el próximo año.

Vista High School está buscando información sobre un cambio en el horario de clases para el próximo año.

Este año hemos tenido días FLEX en los que los estudiantes eligen a qué clase asistir para el periodo final del día.  

Los estudiantes han utilizado el periodo FLEX para obtener tiempo adicional o apoyo en una clase de su elección.  Ha ayudado a los estudiantes a dominar conceptos y aprobar clases.  

Nos gustaría su opinión sobre tener un día FLEX todos los miércoles del próximo año.  El comienzo del día escolar y el final del día escolar no cambiarán.  La mayoría de los días serían los mismos que este año.  Los miércoles las clases serían más cortas y habría dos periodos FLEX para terminar el día.  Haga click aquí para ver el horario.

Creemos que este horario tiene los siguientes beneficios:

• Dar a los estudiantes más opciones en su horario
• Reconocer que los estudiantes pueden querer o necesitar más tiempo de aprendizaje para algunas clases que para otras
• Proporcione a todos los estudiantes la oportunidad de obtener créditos más rápido al brindarles a todos los estudiantes la oportunidad de tener cursos de Edgenuity
