Vista High School held its annual winter graduation on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 in a small, socially distanced ceremony at Snider Auditorium on the Yuma High campus. 

Yuma Union High School District Governing Superintendent Gina Thompson confirmed the group of graduates prior to the distribution of their diplomas. 

“Vista helped me so much,” Vista Class of 2020 graduate Janah Corona said during her commencement address. “I actually wanted to come to school, and wanted to learn and have fun. This school has so many great teachers, and they allow us to take advantage of that. I want to thank them for their patience and commitment to always helping their students and reaching out.

“We’ve dealt with so much in our background, but we made sure that we’d never give up and made sure that we’d be here graduating.”
