KHS to host second American Dream Academy

Kofa High School will again be bringing the Arizona State University American Dream Academy to its students and parents.

The first session will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 20, 2019, with additional sessions every Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. for seven weeks.

During this time, parents and students will be given important information regarding the application process for colleges and how to find and secure great scholarship opportunities. The previous informational session took place on Mar. 13, which was attended by almost 100 people. If a parent, along with the student, attends ALL seven weekly sessions the student becomes eligible to earn a $500 scholarship from Arizona Western College and up to $4000 in scholarships from Arizona State University

Kofa hosted the American Dream Academy in the fall semester with 95 families graduating with 100 percent completion of the program.
