Kofa High School dance program hosts Master Class with top choreographers

Kofa High School’s dance program raised $5,000 to offer a two-day master class program featuring Dustin and Sheraton Phillips, two professional choreographers who have travelled the world teaching. Dance team at KHS

The duo recently choreographed and performed in the 2015 Holiday Bowl and 2016 Orange Bowl halftime shows. Dustin met and worked with Kofa’s Royal Dancers during the Pearl Harbor Day Parade in Hawaii, and offered to come and guest teach at the school. The entire dance community was invited, and the event included a Saturday session for younger children.

Kofa’s Royal Dancers have performed in the Pearl Harbor Day Parade in 2016 and 2017. Their adviser is Jennifer Florey.
