KHS Drama to conduct two days of ‘Great Gatsby’ performances

Kofa High School drama will put on two performances of “The Great Gatsby” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 and Friday, Nov. 9 in the Kofa Auditorium. Tickets are $7 at the door.

The iconic play, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, marks the first major production of the fall semester for Kofa.

Gatsby is the story of eccentric millionaire Jay Gatsby as told by Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner who lives on Long Island, but works in Manhattan. Gatsby's enormous mansion is near Carraway's modest home, and Carraway becomes curious about his neighbor after being invited to one of his famous parties.
