Kofa High School drama presents 'Charlotte’s Web'

The Kofa High School Drama Production and Performance class will put on their fall show titled “Charlotte’s Web” on Nov. 17-18, 2022 in the Kofa auditorium. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and showtime is 7 p.m. for both nights.

“Charlotte’s Web” is a story of a livestock pig named Wilbur (played by Scar Wilson) and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte (played by Olive Crumbley). Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte, a spider, begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will give the audience an evening of enchantment.

“I am super excited for everyone to see this show!” KHS Drama Director Anjielyn Chang said. “I have always loved this story and the life lessons you can learn from Wilbur, Charlotte, and Fern. This will be a fun night for the entire family! Come see these classic characters come to life on stage.”

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. For questions or additional information, please reach out to Chang at achang@yumaunion.org.

“Charlotte’s Web” is one of two mainstage shows the Kofa drama department will put on this school year. The next mainstage show will take place during the spring semester.
