Athletics

  • At San Luis High School we recognize and value the importance of extracurricular activities. We encourage our students to get and stay involved in areas of interest that include sports and activities that keep them active and participating. These activities allow students to develop talents, gain confidence, and learn lifelong skills.

To learn more about our athletic schedules for the year, please click on the athletics schedule link under the Athletics tab. To learn about the clubs and organizations we offer, check out the Clubs page under the Activities tab.

San Luis High School offers three different seasons for Athletics. Students may participate in one sport each season. The Athletic fee is $45.00 payable in the San Luis Bookstore or myschoolbucks.com.  Students are required to have a clearance packet with a physical completed by a U.S. doctor after March 1, 2021.  The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) “Annual Pre-participation Physical Evaluation” form must be used. Students must create a profile on registermyathlete.com (RMA) and be cleared through the Athletics office in order to participate.  Please see the Online Athlete Registration section for further information

Many of our Athletic teams hold out-of-season meetings, practices and/or workouts. Ninth graders must show as "ready for tryouts" on RMA and athletes that were cleared the previous year must complete a profile on RMA in order to participate in out-of-season activities.

According to AIA bylaw 17.5.1, students must be registered at San Luis High School to attend these sessions. Students who will be entering San Luis High School as Freshmen must be registered and have promoted from eighth grade before attending any out-of-season activities or tryouts. All Coaches can be reached by email or through the Athletic Office at 928-502-6058.

    Non-Athletic AIA Activities

In addition, we offer the following non-athletic programs as AIA sanctioned activities:
