- What do members of G.A.T.E. do?
- Students have fun and provide personal enrichment opportunities
- Students go on a student-planned field trip
- Students have opportunity to complete, present, display, and receive .5 elective credit for a peronal project that they design
- How does a student get into G.A.T.E?
- A student has to test into the program by taking the CogAt test and score in the top 3%. If a student qualified in elementary or middle school, please provide a copy of test scores to teacher/facilitator of the program to automatically qualify.
- CogAt test is generally given during August of each school year, but can be given at any other time during the year as necessary. A testing permission slip is required from the teacher/facilitator of the program.
- Send an email to the teacher/facilitator of the program about upcoming testing date(s) & time(s) for the CogAt or see a school counselor in the Counseling office
