Why Coaching: "I got into coaching because of a coach in high school who had a profound impact on my athletic experience and motivated me in the classroom and in athletics. While coaching I love seeing the passion student athletes have for competing and the success they experience in the classroom. Being an athlete in high school and college has taught me many valuable life lessons. I try to encourage all students to go out for a sport in high school."
Fun Fact: Was a national championship wreslter in college.

Fun Fact: When Huerta was hired, he was the first SLHS varsity soccer coach (boys or girls) to be a former SLHS student.
