At Cibola High School we recognize and value the importance of extracurricular activities. We encourage our students to get and stay involved in areas of interest that include sports, band, choir, spirit squad, and other activities that keep them active and participating. These activities allow students to develop talents, gain confidence, and learn lifelong skills.
To learn more about our athletic schedules for the year, please see the link under the Athletics tab. To learn about the clubs and organizations we offer, check out the Clubs page under the Activities tab.
Cibola High School offers three different seasons for Athletics. Students may participate in one sport each season. The Athletic fee is $45.00 payable in the Cibola Bookstore. Students are required to have a clearance packet with a physical completed by a U.S. doctor after March 1, 2022. The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) “Annual Pre-participation Physical Evaluation” form must be used. Students must be cleared through the Athletics office in order to participate. Please see the Online Athlete Registration section for further information
Many of our Athletic teams hold out-of-season activities during their off-season. Students must complete the Athletic clearance process (except for paying the fee) in order to participate in out-of-season activities.
According to AIA bylaw 17.5.1, students must be registered at Cibola High School to attend these sessions. Students who will be entering Cibola High School as Freshmen must be registered and have promoted from eighth grade before attending any out-of-season activities or tryouts. All Coaches can be reached by email or through the Athletic Office at 928-502-5710.
