Ready Now Yuma, an initiative of YUHSD and Helios Education Foundation, is designed to prepare your student for the future. The education he/she receives through YUHSD combines best practices and skill development from the past with new ways of teaching and learning.

Each of our five comprehensive high schools provides students with a rigorous, high expectations program of study within a college-going environment. Our goal is to provide your student with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to succeed in high school and to graduate prepared for college and career.  

In today’s world, employers, vocational trainers, and college professors are looking for the same knowledge and skills from your student and other YUHSD graduates. As a result, we are fostering critical thinking and problem solving as well as creativity, collaboration, and effective communication skills in all of our students.
