Yuma Union High School District is proud to be partnering with Helios Education Foundation on a district-wide initiative called Ready Now Yuma. With student success at the heart of our decision-making process, the goals of Ready Now Yuma include the following:

Graduate every YUHSD student prepared to succeed in college and career Embed a high expectations, college-going culture within the district Increase the number of students entering and succeeding in postsecondary education including career and technical education, community college, and university

This year, every student in our district is participating in a rigorous, high expectations program of study within a college-going environment. Regardless of past academic performance or post-high school aspirations, our program will challenge every student and support each student on the path to college and career success.

Ready Now Yuma is aligned with Arizona’s Core Academic Standards, internationally benchmarked, and designed to help students at all grade levels master valuable skills and knowledge in demand by employers, colleges, and our community.  Ready Now Yuma is unique because it makes a world-class education available to every student—opening the door to opportunities for our students, state, and the Greater Yuma region.
